Created in Flash, this site serves as an interactive guide to Michael Chabon’s award winning novel, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.
Sheridan Tutoring
Sheridan Tutoring
A website I designed for a local tutoring business. I created a multiple page layout that focuses on a user centered experience, while showcasing the company’s strengths.
Fin Rider
Fin Rider
These are some Photoshop mockups of a hypothetical iPhone app I created. Designed for surfers, the app would allow users to view beach related information such as temperature and wave height, as well as contain an interactive feature that lets surfers share videos, pictures, and comments.

Club Sentry
Club Sentry User Manual
Vienna Aquatic Club, located in Fairfax, VA, is a private pool that uses a check-in software system called Club Sentry. They asked if I could help them create a user manual to teach future employees how to use the somewhat convoluted program.

Strategic Scan
Strategic Scan
During my internship at Rockville City Hall, I was tasked with creating an online version of the Strategic Scan. An 80 page booklet, the Scan serves as an overview of the state of the city, analyzing everything from education to crime. I used the CMS SiteExecutive to recreate the booklet and break it down into an easy to understand, multipage section of the city’s website.

Running in local newspapers, I tried to create an ad that allowed people to easily understand the deals at the local course.
Police Safety
Made for the Rockville City Police Department after a string of accidents, this poster was hung in their office at city hall.

Very Well, Alone: How the British Population Survived the London Blitz
For 76 nights the Nazis bombed London in a continual air raid that wreaked havoc on the city. Through the rubble, the British will remained intact, a feat that would change the course of the war.
In my paper I examine the ways in which the population made use of shelters, anti-aircraft tactics, and other forms of resistance that allowed them to survive the Blitz.
Let My Show Go On: William F. Cody’s Role in Shaping the Mythic American West
The idea of the Wild West, one populated with savage Indians riding upon war-horses and brave cowboys saving the helpless damsel in distress, arose in large part because of one man: William F. Cody. Better known by his stage name, Buffalo Bill, Cody’s show, “The Wild West Show” was seen by millions across different continents and played a prominent role in forming the mythified American frontier.
Cox Farms
My senior summer of high school was spent working at store called Cox Farms. A farm outlet, days were spent under harsh task masters forcing workers to repeat soul numbing tasks. Nights, however, became a time for liberation and independence, free from the watchful eye of managers.
In this short story, I recall one night in particular and how it came to embody something deeper.
Mr. Bromley
One of the most memorable people in my life was my high school drama teacher, Mr. Bromley. He was a seemingly human contradiction – physically short, yet an emotional giant; funny and personal, yet frustrating.
This brief story is in a way an ode to him and how I saw the years take their toll.
Net Neutrality Blog
This blog lays out the basics of the net neutrality debate, then delves into current state of the debate, I hope you can relate, because an open internet will be gone at this rate. Stay in school.
Write something creative here.
